myronc I agree completely with your assessment of the maul
technology, however, the mention of the timeframe for the M26 system is the key.

I again mention TRL plus, the time frame to reach the weapon maturity levels that is,to be considered for commercialization.

TRL of MAUL is???? (From research not yet 7)

IMHO many years away from TRL 9 for possible use by DOD.

For other then defense use are the requirements as strict....who knows???
