I would be surprised if it did - as right now the entitlements are well in the money, so anyone not taking them up is effectively leaving money on the table...
Mind you - stranger things happen, those people who send notes to shareholders offering to buy shares for 10% of the market price seem to do quite well out of it!
One issue with your strategy might be that you have to send them the funds for the units you wish to purchase now - and they may take their time returning those funds to you - which is fine if you don't need the capital - but if they were to take, say, 15 weeks to get me my money back, I'd be dark!
[disclaimer: I have no idea how long they may take and I pulled the number 15 from the same place that brokers pull their analysis from].
