So, Gravscan, what you appear to be saying is that every downtrend, whether it be steep or not, is a falling knife. I think the term was meant to differentiate between fast and slow downtrends. Anyway, lets move on.

As for compelling evidence the downtrend is ending, I've already given two pieces of evidence. To reiterate:-

1. Trading against the spike setup - spike down on Redpath news and spike back up on JIC news and has now come back down to trade against the spike without breaking into new lows.
2. Bullish divergences in RSI and stochastic indicators on the weekly chart which is (obviously) much more reliable than daily chart. ie/higher lows in RSI and stochastics as stock has made new lows. Perhaps Hotfire wants to display that chart??? I don't know how.
