Yeah, fair enough.

The reason it is disappointing is unless a company / presenter really captures your attention in the 10 minutes they have, it is unlikely you will remember 80% of the people you see (if in fact you do see that many).

However, a Keynote address is usually for ~30+ minutes, and over that time you get to learn about that person and then you may become "invested" in them / their story, and then follow up on their company (if they are successful in life, there is generally an assumption they are successful in business also).

Oh well, it is what it is.

At least it is the first presentation after the mid session break, so people would have gone to the toilet, got caffeinated etc etc
