If anyone is finding other threads difficult to follow, here is a quick recap of verifiable facts on the current status of the NOPTA application:-

NOPTA have finished their part of the process and have handed down their recommendation. According to Federal MP Zali Staggall, this was done no later than 6/10/20.
This has been subsequently confirmed by BPH and BUY in their Annual Reports.
Therefore, it now sits with the Joint Authority, John Barilaro and Keith Pitt.
But, John Barilaro was on sick leave due to Mental Health issues at the time NOPTA handed down their decision.
John Barilaro returned to work on 21/10/20
There is nothing in the NOPTA legislation that creates a deadline for the JA to hand down their decision.
There is a mechanism for Keith Pitt (Federal) to sideline John Barilaro if he fails to communicate his decision to Keith Pitt.

So now we wait for the JA to hand down their decision.
