Thanks for contributing some technical input here. However, I didn’t say EW wasn’t useful on this. I said there was a clear Elliott Wave pattern sufficient to guide trading. It makes you sound disingenuous when you open with a line like that.

Elliott Wave is an unfolding story, and at various points alternative scenarios are possible, so I try and keep an open mind on alternatives and I offered one in my post. Your count is possible, but arguing my scenario is “plausible” whilst implying yours is the most likely outcome is really forcing the tool to fit a preconceived bias. Ggood luck with it if your trading that view. I suspect you’re just making an argument though.

Your comment that "it’s obvious we aren’t heading down to 2 -4cents" is a bit nonsensical if you’re analysing this in an unbiased way. It was at those prices just 12 weeks ago.

Re “You need to be able break waves down into waves of lesser degree”. I don’t.
