@glauconite that’s all fine, but thanks for the note. You’re very sceptical on technical analysis, but it’s hard to make judgements unless you’ve made a study of it. There is poor TA just as there is poor FA that gives it a bad name. I spent 20 plus years in markets using fundamentals including formal studies in business to help me understand companies, before I retrained myself to analyse companies using classical charting techniques. I have a view that fund managers are better off investing using fundamentals but for retailers it’s far more successful taking a technical approach. Explaining why, and why TA works is way beyond what I can discuss on a NOR thread as much as I would enjoy that. Hopefully you can keep an open mind and maybe I can open the window a little bit through my posts.
