If the wind back of free minutes with new downloads from 10 mins to 2 mins is anything to go by its safe to assume there will be some limitations on "free".
Whilst I read on HC that free app to app will be just straight voip ... I don't see the point in that as it doesn't show case NORs point of difference to freebie users.
I like to think that each App to App call will have say the first x number of minutes free..... Then be charged at NOR rates if users don't hang up and call back.
Free minutes could start out high and be wound back (or extended) as management balance new user acquisition with cost.
Flexibility will be paramount to optimising "free" app to app.......
NOR got burned offering too much for free with Android launch.
I don't think they'd make that mistake again.
