With the end of financial year just a month away, some people are probably thinking what a challenging year it has been. Looking back at the past 2 years, there’s really just 2 stocks in my portfolio that have delivered solid returns that would have bought me, my wife, my daughter and the friendly neighbour one Tesla each even on relatively modest amount of investment- LPD being the biggest. Another 3 have given me high to moderate returns but these have been nullified by a few dogs that managed to creep in into my portfolio. Looking back, i cannot believe I was so careless in investing in these ones whose directors and management actually have an unsurprising history of incompetence and fleecing the company with exorbitant salaries and goodies and doing CR’s at ridiculous discounts. It’s a classic asx shareholder value destruction- unlike Lpd’s SPP’s which have consistently been very rewarding to all holders especially mums and dads. Which now leads me to do a deeper rethink of my strategy and due diligence. In fact had I held just platypus and nothing else, I would have come up on top by a good stretch ........

I have no doubt many are desperately looking for a big winner and will be watching this unique platypus opportunity in the coming weeks. The daily sp fluctuation is just noise.

Finally.....pal, the silence that you see is not unusual. Just a quick googling of the platypus will tell you the platypus usually sleeps during the day. But it’s good to be focused and be ready for the main prize this year and next.

I'd like to just say that I value your posts in the top handful of posters on the LPD forum and appreciate all your efforts. I've even checked a few of your other stocks over the period noticed you've picked a few winners which helps bolsters my confidence in LPD. To me your the numbers man, much of which goes over my head but from what i do understand it Looks Good!
