From the sounds of it BL was definitely pushed out by BOD rather than for "personal reasons." The low morale of staff and cold atmosphere of most companies after a key person leaves on negative terms usually lingers around for a while. This sounds like what you guys walked into with the office visit.
With all of BL's inner sanctum knowledge... could he be recruited by another company (competitor or OEM) to possibly lead a takeover of SYA at the current ridiculously low share price for a Li producer?
That would be an interesting "card that BL could play"... certainly if his departure was not on amicable or reasonable terms... will be interesting to see if he is still holding onto his substantial share holding.
