    "They would come to the negotiating table instead. Part of his rationale was that the NK missile silos would take a couple of hours to prepare for launch and they would be hit well before that so they could only attack South Korea using conventional weapons. That's a huge gamble, IMO."
    Those missiles would be conventional though correct given NK had not the capacity to mount a small enough nuke on a missile ?
    Wondering why they would take a couple of hours to get ready for launch if conventional , also NK have artilary in range of SK which could have a devastating first volley and guessing would be easier to hide (no preemptive heat signature ).
    Could also be potential for Officals to disobey Kims orders if they knew an attack was effectively suicidal .
