re: north sea leases oilbarrel article Oilbarrel has a good article on the 23rd round, including a paragraph devoted to Elixir. It says that the MD of Elixir is "over the moon" with the award of the 6 new permits.
The two permits in the north of UK north sea which were awarded to Elixir as operator appear particularly exciting. They are north and on trend with Jaguar prospect (211/22b). Looking at that part of the north sea on the Elixir location map, there is a lot of oilfields out there! The potential for additional small and not so small oil fields in that area has to be pretty good.
Looking forward to more details of prospects on new award blocks.
Next six months leading to Jaguar drilling should be very interesting. I am holding and hoping!
