jct During the 80's while i was in the North Sea with Chevron, it was no secret that the east coast of Scotland was a vast source of oil and hundreds of exploration holes were plugged.The problem is it in a deep trench that runs down the length of the coastline and they did not have the technology then to bring it to the surface cost effectivly.
At this morning's (9th June)price of US$139 barrel i think they will already be working on a remedy.
Failing that, Iran is looking very hostile and considering the oil finds in Burma they may need to be forced to accept our offers of humanitarian assistance
