Its the mean arrogance of the plan that amazes me. Can you imagine the man of the house going off to work each day. leaving his wife and daughters at home alone, right next to a compound containing 1500 men, from anywhere, who don't want to be there?
Many simply would not do that, so the disruption to their lives is just about the rudest thing that could be done to honest hard-working tax-paying citizens.
The government has stepped beyond a line. Even the Government's most ardent supporters could not support such an arrogant stupid plan.
