Giving HDR investors a growing faith in the offshore tenements of Guyane South America, Northern Petroleum has last night shot up 6.7% since the announcement of its purchase of a 1.25% interest in the 65,000sq km area. If we are to witness these rises regularly for Northern, just think of what will happen to HDR's share price when they announce their farmout deal [or deals] sometime in the next month. Remember, HDR currently holds a 97.5% interest in the tenement on which VERY encouraging seismic results have been obtained.
