  • Northern Minerals (NTU) has received a research and development refund from from the Australian Tax Office (ATO) worth $8.64 million
  • The refund pertains to a refundable tax offset for the 2017, 2018 and 2019 financial years
  • It provides a strengthened balance sheet as the company moves forward with pilot plant test work at its Browns Range Project in Western Australia
  • A portion of the refund will also be used to make an early debt repayment to JHY Investments
  • Shares in Northern Minerals closed in the grey for 3.1 cents each
