Off to a cracker of a start - with the CLP looking to topple the long standing ALP from its government lounge chair.

A combined Independant/Greens alliance hasn't arisen, as with the Climate Teals down south. The few rambling half-wit independants do tend to split the conservative party vote, with the left independants apparently all falling in line with the Green banner.

Some electorates have no alternatives, just CLP and ALP, which indicates a large amount of apathy.

    From earlier elction coverage,

ABC election analyst Antony Green says Labor seem to have underestimated the territory's underlying conservatism.
"This is a huge advantage for the Country Liberals; they are one seat away from being back in government and they will have a much better time in the next election, simply because they've got so many more members," he said.

Most likely outcome appears to be a hung parliment, with a Green member (The VERY FIRST Green) to hold the sway of power.

THAT is going to be a shocker for the mining industry in the NT, along with the cotton farmers. (Have I mentioned how low the cotton farmers are?)

Anyway, stuff ya's, I got a Democracy sausage AND a laksa!
