Can't win...build a wind farm and people complain of headaches.
NT government will try very hard to keep this exploration going. They only just excised part of a national park in Roper River for exploration - of course one would expect that this was done with the consent of traditional owners and environmental authorities.
As far as environmental impacts the NT has a good track record of working through environmental assessments successfully. I have faith in their process. Will only be a problem if the Feds get involved.
