    Note however that in the highly successful U.S Bakken shale formations the trend in horizontal drilling has been increasing and is up to around 3000m in some cases!

    Imagine the scale of flow with dozens of wells, 3000m lateral drills, and several different shale formations at varying depths! The mind boggles.

    All pure speculation of course... but imagine!

    Two words come immediately to my mind that I have seen on this thread over the years... LILO and Dollarfiddy!

    As I said, do not take this post seriously, it is idle speculation.
