Hi alexei ii, Agreed. NED-1 is a high confidence well. Hopefully NWE will provide one the market with one of the new 2022 2D seismic lines acquired over the NED-1 location so we can get a feel for what the structure looks......at least on one west-east line.
Who really knows how and why companies designate the naming convention for follow-up wells to a discovery. Below was the chit chat on a recent Shell follow-up well.
In February, Shell hit oil with its Graff-1 well in offshore Namibia and immediately spudded a follow-up well called La Rona-1, eight kilometers from the original wildcat. It was assumed that the this second well was an appraisal well, but there were suggestions it was an exploration well.
