Surely you have noticed the current international climate for risky investing?

Think Greece, Italy Spain for starters.

Greek elections this w/e can result in turmoil for markets next week.

IMO the best thing about the timing of the SPP is the fact that by 23rd July we would hope that things have settled down overseas and some certaintity and predictability returns to the markets.

Thus may be why NWE are not releasing the new shares until the 23rd?

So far only abt. 4.5m shares have been sold off today - hardly a dump.
