NORWOOD ABBEY UPDATE
Medical technologies group Norwood Abbey Ltd [ASX:NAL] confirms that its merger plans are continuing to progress. The merger candidate is currently dealing with certain internal issues for which resolution is required prior to a final agreement with Norwood.
Concurrently, Norwood is working towards completion of its half-yearly accounts, which are being impacted by the merger plans.
Norwood is working towards satisfaction on both matters and a further announcement will be made in due course.
Norwood confirms that it now expects completion of a commercial arrangement in relation to its Needle-free project in the same time-frame.
Norwood also confirms that discussions in relation to an Eyecare commercial arrangement are proceeding, through its appointed US intermediary.
