IMO we'll have the start of a Global recession by this time next year and our Government of whatever party will be helpless to stop it here: -we're loaded with debt inherited from purportedly "Good Times -a hostile China that will cruel our economy at the first sight of weakness (we've asked for that!) -imminent stagflation (high interest rates & negative economic growth (This plagued Japan for a decade) -no credible plan by either party to deal with this inevitable global recession/depression. -an unaware (she'll be right) Aus population that is more interested in sport than golbal economics . (just look at the growth of gyms!) -a lack of politically bilateral cooperation which would put the country/general good first rather than partisan politics.
