When Graincorp and United Malt split a couple of years ago, i think the price was around $8 - from memory it was a 50/50 split, so both GNC and UMG ended up at around $4
Graincorp is around $8 now, and UMG around well....$4
Not a bad call call from BOD. So plenty of confidence going forward.
Don't forget that Graincorp still operate some UMG imports, exports and intrastate trade.
