You gotta love sailorgirl's "work" too !!!! Thanks for the link and comments. I agree that the gas potential offshore Mauritania has been underplayed so far .. but that might change this year. I believe that the JV is deliberately looking for gas to get sufficient reserves to back an LNG development. After all the primary experience and activities of two majors involved are in gas. Thinking about this possibility takes me back to 1999/early 2000 when I spoke to WPL about their plan in Mauritania and was told that the data collection and seismic would be the biggets thing they had done since ethe NW Shelf!
Sounds like a nice scenario to me .. HDR a 20% JV partner in another NW Shelf gas development... in which case $10...na you're dreamin ... make it $20. LOL
