Clinicians from Royal North Shore Hospital (RNSH) delivered a petition of more than 14,000 signatures on Friday to NSW Transport Minister Gladys Berejiklian in protest at the $950 million re-development of the hospital.
Dr Tony Joseph, chairman of the RNSH Medical Staff Council, handed the petition to Ms Berejiklian's electorate office in the northern Sydney suburb of Naremburn.
"The ball is in the government's court," Dr Joseph told AAP on Friday.
"They understand now the community's signal to them that they're significantly concerned about this project."
