The government shouldn't be playing "mother hen" and throwing excessive money at getting rebates/payments for solar generation.
Solar generation has to work in its own right with economies of scale which stand up to normal commercial market forces.
The fact is, SOLAR is inefficient as it stands today.
The technology will get better but right now it is not worth it without heavy government spending.
Chuck the whole program out if you ask me, it was always a waste of money and has been used as an instrument to gain political popularity amoungst those poor masses who buy into an ideal over facts.
Bring on gas-fired power stations. :D
