"Leading up to ann someone knew it was coming"
Then send a insider complaint to the ASX... I did. It could just be a trader that wanted out at that price. That $200k trade made everyone nervous though, I have never seen that happen for the stock.

Some of what you say has assumptions. I make assumptions as well I suppose. They can not tell you everything because they need to keep some information from competitors and customers customers, if that makes sense.

Here are some of my assumptions...

It was a slow fall after 2004 and not low for very long and only a few people were buying it with me, like 2 people. The most volume was a director selling out to start a VOIP company. Everything was totally different, they lost a factory and had no spare change to pay dividends. Now they do and the bad news is just an accounting problem mainly, it could go the other way next year. It did try to recover, it was never worth less than 12c imho, but people were ramping it so it fell. Telstra dropped them in the "whammy" years before this, a bit mean of Telstra, but remember Steve Vizard was about before that, things were dodgy and Telstra was blaming Netcomm for firmware faults that were caused by Telstra, so I think they had a quiet fight, Netcomm lost obviously. Now Netcomm has a whole department for Telstra. Although I agree it is always a risk, especially while we do not know much about the contracts etc. I would also like to understand YT some more because that was a big wad of our cash and shares they got.

Yes the oppies were annoying, but the directors paid themselves very little for long periods before this.

I wish they explained the USD thing better, they might do at the AGM, the last annual report said they were exposed to USD but, inferred very little risk and said not very much in a round about way. Look at a 10 year USD/AUD graph, it was a very steep that last climb, although it was obvious at Christmas the dollar was going back to parity, America printed money like candy, (I said 99c by next to my father in law). I mean I guessed that pretty close, why couldn't Netcomm? I think the opposite to you... that the $AUD dollar will fall as overseas investors start to pull out of Australian land. I think stocks on average will do nothing, but NTC will be good. They moved forward R&D, i.e. they may be keeping even more as greenbacks and upping US spending.

I get a little frustrated with their business acumen at times, I think some of the problems are because they report so randomly, I wish they would update the top twenty properly and report more as well. I can't find much on the new 3g pocket modems, I only realized today that Netcomm had a new site in America. I like to know things like that.
