great company - honestly managed for benefit of shareholders.
clear consistent accounting and reporting practices from day#1.
ALL R&D fully expensed from year#1 (not capitalised!)
Stated profit has always been real profit that can be seen and measured in cash.
High ROE always
Invested for future over two decades (R&D between 15-20% of income over many years and fully expensed)
You get div return and capital growth (share price did go a bit crazy high in tech bubble and pre-GFC, but SP now 2.2x pre-GFC high)
It does look a bit expensive now, but I think you will be lucky if you can get it at $2.50 again
