It doesnt work that way.
I accumulate my favourite stocks.
But I also keep the 'situation' stocks such as CBA because they are paying their way.
Cost base for CBA $6. Current gross dividend yield based on purchase price almost 100%.
It generates cash for other investments.
Selling CBA would immediately cause me to share 25% of my capital with Peter Costello.
I dont do that sort of thing.
