You make a good point Holdonman, there's no doubt that there was an overestimation of the resource at OP as indicated by the updated mineral resource estimate on Aug 19 2016. Your opinion that the old directors knew this when they made the decision to switch processing plants is also plausible. The conclusions you come to indicate that markets are not as efficient as perhaps we are lead to believe, and that there is often a disparity of information transparency when it comes to what the directors of a company know and what they announce to the public. This is not how public companies should be run, but the harsh reality is that it is more the norm rather than the exception, some just get away with it better than others.

Accepting that your analysis of past events is correct, how do you think this affects the future prospects of ABU? At this point in time, the full nature of the OP resource is now reflected in the share price of 9.5c, the directors and management have been changed, and new major shareholders are pushing forward with exploration. There is a compelling case for investors at current levels to have confidence that the hot air has come out of the story and current exploration prospects have the potential to lift the share price from here.
