cadia wont stop production unless a court orders it to specifically to do so. The court will find it hard to make that decision, since NCM is an indirect casualty of the corruption enquiry.
Probably need to recognise a corrupt minister doesn't make all his decisions corrupt decisions, just leave the possibility of one. If there is any reasonable doubt cadia, it can swing either way, but until it is settled either way production will continue.
Bought another parcel this morning, hopefully this goes even lower ($10?)
Don't mind buying up more, biggest risk I can see is if the POG goes any lower, all others have been positive.
The company is obviously in crisis mode due to Lihir ramp up and POG falling, it will swing the cost cutting blade no matter the red stains. POG falling is somewhat negated by the falling AUD (production cost will also fall due to its association with AUD). Not like the company has any refinancing time bombs waiting, so give it a year or two and maybe double/triple your money.
