Any appointed Iraqi puppet will not last 5 minutes if they floated their oil price with OPEC. Iraqi oil will set the oil price of OPEC at a low level for as long as oil remains, or whatever the oil companies want it to be.
US companies will "invest" in Iraqi oil companies and control the international price. That my simple friend is what this is all about.
Far more worrying is that the US oil companies will control the price of world oil. That could lead to high prices down the track.
