I reckon if BA wants to get more involved with Qantas, they could start by buying some shares. BA is already getting a lot of business from Qantas, they code share, are members of the same alliance and BA is the first choice offered by QAN for any additional travel or if QAN is full.
Put some many on the table BA, but I think that they not exactly cashed up.
