Not all bad?? Dyesol is supposed to be in the light, on the cusp of a paragdigm shift, about to ramp up muck production with several major german chemical manufacturers, about to announce a decisino as to whether they will go into production of solar roofing with one of the biggest steel makers in the world and...

...as I posted elsewhere earlier...there is not a single mention of its Welsh jv with Corus in the announcement. Forget about all this talk about opportunities in Germany and the US and Dyesol being a leader in commercialisation of the technology. As far as I can tell, all of that is all over the horizon stuff. The here and the now for Dyesol is the commercialisation of solar steel sheeting and inexplicably it did not even rate a mention in Caldwell's announcement today. The fact that they had to give the shares away at a discount shows that they have nothing worth talking about with the professional and sophisticated investors regarding the Welsh project.

Richard Caldwell converted himself into an executive chairman late last year on the ticket of helping secure deals with german chemical companies to provide the ingredients for the Welsh operation and of looking after any m&a activities. Now more than 6 months after the last AGM the bloke has achieved nothing of substance. Six months is long enough to know whether an executive can make a difference and clearly Mr Caldwell cannot. As such he should go imo.

Not all bad??? Dear me. I have to wonder why you would have your money at risk with DYE if you are not primarily focused on the Corus deal.
