re: bye, bye uranium.
Whel there it is. The ann. is out, and MME are prepared to renew the licences for BASE METALS AND RARE METALS only, with no rights to the uranium.
Like I explained above, they should have included "Nuclear Fuels" in their original application. OK, they probably didnt realise the presence of the same, but then they should have kept quiet about the Uranium find until they secured some sort of rights to it somehow. The statement re "Nuclear Fuels Not Addressed" is not strictly true. It is common knowledge over there that RTM has tried to include that in its renewal. It means that "Nuclear Fuels" have not been addressed by MME, not Reefton. I hope RTM can come to some arrangement over this, but MME is perfectly entitled to give the Uranium rights to another party under the circumstances.I hope this doesnt happen.
To sum up, what is happening is like RTM trying to get "Super66" included in their Lotto ticket AFTER the draw. Very difficult. The simply just stuffed up.
