not enough goodwill by commsec

    From the email .....

If you open a CommSec International Share Trading Account, CommSec will sell your BOTA shares for you at NIL brokerage. This is offered as a goodwill gesture and to thank you for your patience. Please note that the order will need to be placed before 31 January 2013.

    .......

My understanding is that Commsec will cover the cost of one trade, so that is $65.

But when Commsec try to attract new users they often offer them $500 worth of free brokerage as incentive. At $19.95 a trade that equates to 25 trades

If they were serious about goodwill they would offer those affected with $2000 of free trading on the International Share Account (which around 25 trades and would constitute an offer of goodwill)

That is the goodwill I will be asking Commsec for. I suggest everyone who has been affected by this ask for the same goodwill ($2000 free brokerage of CommSec International Sahre Trading Account)and the free brokerage should be valid for one year from Monday November 26.
