MobiData signs Heads of Agreement with Secure Sentinel to Distribute MobiPod
MobiData Group Pty Ltd (MobiData) have advised Fusia Limited (the Company) that they have signed a Heads of
Agreement with Secure Sentinel. Secure Sentinel is part of the Vero Group and will distribute MobiData’s initial
product, MobiPod, to its existing and future customer base. Secure Sentinel is Australia and New Zealand’s leading
provider of personal property and protection services.
MobiData anticipates that a more detailed distribution agreement will be executed with Secure Sentinel prior to
Christmas, at which time further details of the impact of this contract on the Company will be announced.
MobiData Group Pty Ltd
On 19 November 2004 shareholders of Fusia Limited (Fusia) unanimously approved the acquisition of MobiData.
Fusia anticipates completion of this transaction to occur over the coming week.
Richard Carey, the Managing Director of MobiData and proposed Managing Director of Fusia said:
“This Heads of Agreement further demonstrates the growing market acceptance of the benefits MobiData’s products
offer to mobile phone users. Further information will be provided once the full distribution agreement is entered
into.”
MobiPod
MobiPod is a set-and-forget mobile phone backup service that automatically backs up all the data on a mobile phone
to a central server. The service can be set to operate daily, weekly or at any interval the customer chooses. Once
MobiPod is installed in the phone the only requirement from the customer is that the phone be within mobile range
and be switched on.
