heartware almost doubles in a few months. Not that I'd know but I'm making an intelligent guess that there is very little enthusiasm for the product or signing up for it in the trials.
I hear that other VADs have had no problems with large scale trials but VCR has taken a huge amount of time to get around 30 guinea people. Not that I'd know but I think Thoratec just used a huge human trial sample for its new product.
I reckon that HTW is far superior to the lot.
