You have to be kidding me zubric. You are going to use the profits from your sale of shares to justify your position on the remaining shares?
can I use my profit from sale of my bhp shares to fool myself and hotcoppers that I bought leg shares at 3c.
Shares are sold. You made a profit or loss. You can’t then apply that profit or loss to adjust your average purchase price.
Even better, I wish everyone would not say how much they paid for their shares. I have no respect or regard for such posts.
And I have not owned BHP. Just making a point..... I hope
