That's right Shodd, the map shown in the NY Times does not recognise Puntland's existence and suggests that Sool and Sanaag are part of Somaliland.
While Puntland does claim sovereignty over the region, and fought off Somaliland in 2004 in Sool, it does not provide the certainty many investors would wish for.
