my chat with ML revealed that Atmospheric would indeed by quicker, yield higher grades and allow for the acid to be recycled which was an issue with the Heap Leach. This will result in a considerable cost saving - the cost of acid having gone up with everything else.
He said BHP already thought that the Heap Leach results would disappoint, their technical team is watching Heron's results very closely and there is good discussion between the two.
My bet is that Jump Up ends up a BHP jv !
