I think the price action is more to do with trades within broking firms rather than capital raising.
For example, today I tried to buy some, and as soon as I placed my buy order another order was instantly put above mine to soak up some sells and leave a bit extra on the buy side. That implies to me that sells were not serious, someone would be quite happy to buy from someone selling low, but didn't want their own sells taken out.
