Ladies and gentlemen, if you want to gauge the extent of how political this project is getting please do two things:

1. Read this most recent article that covers PM's visit of Usti region here:

2. Read the 700+ comments that were left in the discussion panel under that article. Those comments were accumulated in about 24 hours after the publication. The whole country is watching this project; the PM's Office is now making lithium mining the cornerstone legacy of his term in power.

Whilst this is entertaining to watch from the sidelines for some, my somewhat oversized holding makes me very nervous. Politics and business rarely make for a great combination, with this amount of publicity I fear that Geomet/EMH may find itself in the Jadar position if they do not manage their PR and relations well.

Note: No coverage of any sort brought any mention to the fact that the 49% ownership of Geomet is by EMH, I really hope that they do not start bringing any attention to it, that is a bright red target for the nationalists...and we have seen how that scenario played out last time.
