It is logical, Volkswagen cannot compete with the Asian EV brands - the costs to produce are too high, salaries too high, workers unionized, electricity too high (you can thank Mrs Merkel for that). In Czechia lower than in Germany but still not good enough.
Just look at the car showrooms in major German cities, they are full of BYD, Polestar, Tesla, Kia... Sure many Germans still buy German brands but how much of that is German pride and how much rationality? If you check the investor presentation of VW and their numbers in the last reports, it is a bit depressing
