It is easy to pick on Fingers, as he is a passionate supporter of this stock, sometimes to the detriment of his own credibility. If you run through the threads from 2017+ there are so many offtake references being 'imminent' it really makes me smile (as well as valuation of $12-17 per share).
My account has been topping up on the scheduled orders for the past 3 weeks, so whilst I am still -20% in the red right now, at least I am not -40%. I am comfortable that the FID will be positive and DFS will be released. I would not want to see the SP if they announce delays to the DFS, we'd skim .30ies easily on open.
There is also chance that EMH will announce an offtake (non-binding/MOU-type) followed by a DFS delay announcement (the quick 'one-two'), KC have mentioned it 3 times in the interviews now ("..the offtake news may be announced before the DFS release in Q423..". EMH may think that with a positive announcement they will be able to release the delay notice without a major hit to the SP (they are mistaken).
EMH has at least another 6 months of lithium bear market before the grip of the tightening cycle eases up (combined with the CRMA legislation release). Hopefully EMH is still around then to benefit from the recovery, and is not bought out at the bottom.
