Unfortunately affordable lithium prices is where the house of cards falls. No investment will take place on new mines if there are low or no returns which in turn leads to a massive spike in raw materials and then everyone is scrambling for product again. I’ve been of the opinion for years that for Europe to do it properly and to safeguard supply then the answer is staring them in the face. Massively expand plans for cinovec in order to supply anyone who wants it in Europe. The geopolitics question is nullified in one go.
