Yeah good call Fingers, I reviewed that VUL news piece this morning, whilst it is bullish and shows potential for eventual funding, all parties that will apply for it (inclusive of EMH) are still years away from actually getting their hands on it. The text of the announcement is so full of uncertainty that it should only be used as an informational piece about what could happen rather than what will happen.

This is the reason why this VUL news item was not received overly warm by the market (as it just states that VUL is progressing in its application).

Still somewhat bullish though, just applies to all the parties that are engaging for grant applications with EIB and EU, including EMH. Of course we will not see any announcements from EMH regarding potential EIB support or status of their applications, because ... you know... that requires work.
