My own view is this is a combination of rank incompetence and CZ politics. Cinovec is as much a potential vote loser as it is a vote winner
I am equally concerned about CEZ motives but with EBRD on our register they would probably have to be "in" on it as well, which I doubt. We have a relatively tight register.
They could pull some kind of stunt at the JV level, but being majority state owned and Pro EU? I am not sure they would want the publicity.
