    alptrade,
I have noticed a growing trend over a number of shares over a period of time where small buys/sells are used (NOT BOTS)to manipulate the share price to trigger stop losses.Over the day the total number of shares traded with these small sales are so small it would not indicate a sell off.Rather the sale of 1,2 or 200 shares at the lower pip may trigger a stop loss that triggers the lower price where the buyer awaits.Seems perfectly logical and rational to me also smells a lot like manipulation and probably illegal under ASX rules.
I recon there should be an ASX rule for these small buy/sells (or bots). That is if a number of these small buy/sells are made by the same body and at the end of the day a net opposite gain/loss is made then this is seen as market manipulation. So if after a day of making these small sales the buyer has a net gain,he is obviously using these small sales to manipulate the share price, which is against ASX rules.
